While tuition at RIT main campus in New York is approximately $40,000 per year, students enrolled at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) enjoy a discounted rate where tuition for the entire academic year is 6,300 Euro. This amount covers all the lectures’ fees, exam fees, a personal laptop, access to library and other academic material fees.
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is a non-for profit institutions whose programs are delivered solely from its own financing sources and students scholarships. Regardless of being a nonprofit institution, as we work on being the leaders in quality education we constantly invest on recruiting the best professors, improving our facilities, updating the technology on campus, providing scholarships for students in need, funding different student activities, and many other endeavors that enable an effective teaching/learning process - investments that determine our tuition costs.
For Local, Regional and European students:
- Tuition for entire academic year 2017/2018 is 6,300 Euro for 12-15 semester credits
- Tuition for 1 semester of the academic year 2017/2018 is 3,200 Euro for 12-17 semester credits.
- Price for 1 semester credit for full time students taking above 15 credits (per semester) is 265€.
- Price for 1 semester credit for part time student is 320€.
For International Non-European students:
- Tuition for 1 semester of the academic year 2017/2018 is 4,250 USD
- Tuition for the following semester is charged at local rate
As part of the admissions procedures, freshmen or transfer students need to pay a Reservation Fee of EUR 500 (non-refundable) upon Acceptance Letter. This fee is used to confirm their admission and order their laptops. This fee then is then deducted from the first installment of their Tuition Fee Payment.
Tuition Payments and Financing can be done:
- Full Yearly Tuition at once
- Per semester
- On Installment Plan (up to four installments per semester; eight installments per year)
- Short Term Student Loans (0% interest yearly loans with TEB or ProCredit Bank)
- Long Term Student Loans (7 year loan with 2 years of grace period and 2% interest rate with NLB Prishtina)

Family Tuition Reduction Plan
In order to ease the financial burden of families funding more than one student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), we apply the Family Tuition Reduction Plan. This plan offers a 10 % discount to each of the students on the remaining part of the Tuition Fee (after deducting any scholarship received from the students). In order to apply for the discount the student must complete the Family Tuition Reduction Form and submit to the Finance Office.
