Jeta Bakija graduated from RIT Kosovo™ (A.U.K) in 2008 with concentrations in Management & Entrepreneurship, and with a minor in Public Policy. After the graduation, Jeta continued her studies in the University of Sheffield in Thessaloniki with concentrations in MA Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.
Jeta is working at the European Centre for Minority Issues Kosovo (ECMI Kosovo) for the past six years and she is currently in a position of a Project Manager of the four years project “Equal Rights for All Coalition”, funded by the European Union and managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo. Jeta within this project successfully manages a staff of approximately thirty people, where her main task within the project is to advocate the protection and promotion of human rights, focusing on minority communities, women, youth and LGBT community.
Regarding her experience at RIT Kosovo™ (A.U.K), Jeta states: “RIT Kosovo™ (A.U.K) has been a great experience from which, I grew professionally and intellectually. Managing staff, communicating with different stakeholders and building good relations, advocating and lobbying are my daily tasks, for which I studied for four years at RIT Kosovo™ (A.U.K).”
RIT Kosovo™ (A.U.K) and its advanced management programme and professional staff helped Jeta to build her management skills, the field in which she is working for six years now.
