On May 15, 2018 RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Honors Society students presented their Capstone Projects. The event gathered RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Faculty and staff, students, family members, and representatives from RIT New York and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Board of Trustees. Honors Society research represents among the highest academic achievements of undergraduate students at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). Their research papers are subsequently published in the RIT Digital Media Library. In 2017/18 academic year, there were five Honors students who met the eligibility criteria to become members of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Honors Society and who worked on their Honors projects during their senior year of studies:

Yllza Hoti: “Outsourcing in Kosovo: An analysis of Kosovo’s comparative advantage and the potential for growth”
Arbër Maxhuni: “Budgeting Process of Kosovo: A critical assessment”
Fjolla Qorraji: “The Psychology behind Voting Behavior in Kosovo”
Kaltrina Zeka: “Hotel Industry Development in Kosovo”
The objectives of the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Honors Society are to recognize RIT Kosovo (A.U.K)’s most outstanding students and to promote academic and professional skills as well as civic involvement. Students invited into the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Honors Society are required to have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.8 in the spring semester of their Junior Year (and throughout the remainder of their program at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). As part of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Honors Society, students are required to conduct a one year Capstone Project, over 2 regular semesters. The RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) supervisor for Honors Capstone projects is Dr. Venera Demukaj.
