Fadil Sahiti gained his PhD in Management from Birkebck, University of London, and holds an MBA degree in Banking and Corporate Finance from Kurt Bösch University (IUKB), Switzerland. Before joining Rochester Institute of Technology in Kosovo, he has been working as an Associate Lecturer and Tutor for some prestigious educational institutions in the UK such as LSE, UCL and BBK. While there, at Bachelor and Master level he taught several subjects, including Financial and Managerial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Industrial and Corporate Change with Reference to Central and Eastern Europe, and Research Methods. Fadil’s research interests lie in the field of entrepreneurship in less-developed economies, looking upon factors that enable and constrain the growth of firms.
Fadil is a fellow member of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, member of British Humanist Association, and member of Birkbeck Centre for Innovation Management Research. In the past, as a founding member of University of Prizren, he also has worked as the dean of Business Administration Program, and Associate Professor of Accounting. Before entering his academic career, he accumulated senior management position experience in the private sector. More than 15 years of management practice with local and international organisations (UNDP, CIPE, DFC, Riinvest). For longer than ten years he held managerial positions in banking industry – Raiffeisen Bank and NLB.
