Irwin Metzger Memorial Library
The beautiful Irwin Metzger Memorial Library was made possible through a $50,000 grant from the United States Office in Prishtina (now the United States Embassy in Kosovo). The library opened on February 21, 2007. Renovations to significantly enlarge the space will begin shortly, and this improvement is again through the generosity of the US Embassy.
Thanks to the original grant, the Library was able to purchase approximately 900 new books, magazine and daily newspapers. It offers a range of books, reference materials, classroom materials, electronic technology resources, videos, and DVDs.
The library is a uniquely designed space, providing a quiet study area, a casual reading space in the entrance, and a group study area (2nd floor). All of this is in an attractive environment, conducive to study.
Work–Study opportunities are available in the library for students seeking to earn extra money during the year.

The World Bank Regional Libraries in Kosovo
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) has been included in 2009 in the World Bank Regional Libraries program.
The World Bank Regional Libraries in Kosovo will be provided with print titles and CD-ROM products formally published by the World Bank. They will also receive free access to World Bank online resources:
- World Development Indicators - premier source of data on global economy.
- Global Development Finance - database containing statistical data for 147 countries and country groups.
- E-Library - an electronic portal to the World Bank's full-text collection of books, reports, and other documents.
The Regional Libraries Program is a key element in the World Bank's overall publication strategy. As the world's largest development institution, the Bank undertakes large projects of research, analysis, and data gathering. The dissemination of that research is a necessary part of the Bank's objectives, because knowledge and information, to have value, must be shared. Well-organized libraries that serve numerous users are one of the most effective channels for the sharing of knowledge and information. The World Bank sets great store by its relationship with its depository and regional libraries.
Regional Libraries receive all major annual publications and any official publications concerning the library's particular geographic region (around 40 titles per year).
