Ronald Cami is a partner at the law firm, Davis Polk & Wardwell, in Davis Polk’s corporate department in Northern California and New York. He leads the firm’s private equity practice and is one of the firm’s leaders of its west coast practice. From 2010 through 2015, Ron was a partner and the general counsel of TPG Global, a multi-asset, alternative investment firm with over $70 billion of assets under management. From 1994 through 2000, Mr. Cami was an associate in the New York and London offices of Cravath. Prior to that, Mr. Cami served as law clerk to the Honorable Kevin Thomas Duffy of the Southern District of New York, during which time Judge Duffy presided over the first World Trade Center bombing criminal case. Mr. Cami graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned his J.D., summa cum laude with order of the coif distinction, from Rutgers Law School.
