Our mission is to assist and empower students to achieve academic success while providing a supportive and friendly environment. The Academic Support Center is committed to guide students in developing an academic plan which suits their needs and complies with their long-term goals.
Our vision is to prepare students with the necessary tools to become active, responsible, and forward-thinking learners who wisely use the opportunities they’re given at this institution.
Bleta is a senior student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). She joined the Academic Support Center on March of 2017. Apart from being an English Tutor, Bleta also tutors students in Management, Public Policy and International Relations courses. Her previous work experiences involve working as an assistant auditor at Audit & Consulting Associates, as well as being a Contractor for the Embassy of Canada to Croatia and Kosovo for the past two years. She is always willing to assist students in accomplishing their academic endeavors.
Diar Ramadani is a sophomore at RIT Kosovo. He joined the ASC Team on September 2018 as an English tutor. Previously Diar has worked as a Reference and Promotion manager at Irwin J. Metzger Library and currently works as a Content Writer for ‘BeinKosovo’. His main interests are: content creation, fine arts, business, environmental engineering and technology. Diar is also the Media and Communications manager at Youth Activism Center, and a Board member at the Youth Council of Gjilan.
Gerta is a junior student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). She joined ASC during the spring semester 2017 as a Mathematics Tutor. Gerta’s previous working experience has been IPKO where she was a business department intern. She also worked in USA as an accountant assistant manager. She is willing to help students if they have problems or need additional information in College Math, Math 1, and Math 2.
Ibrahim is a junior student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). He joined the ASC in September 2017 as a Mathematics tutor; in September 2018 he has been appointed Head Tutor of the Academic Support Center. Ibrahim’s previous working experiences include RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Admissions Office, the business consulting company - REA Prishtina, and the Human Resources Unit at IPKO Telecommunications. He is willing to help students for several math-related courses such as Math 1, Math 2, Statistics 1, Financial Accounting, and so forth.
Xhorxhina is a senior student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). She joined the ASC staff in September 2018 as an English, Public Policy & International Relations tutor. She is also completing an internship at Kosovo 2.0 as a part of the Professional Journalism Shadowing Program. Xhorxhina has also been an active member of RIT Kosovo’s Charity Club where she had the chance to tutor 7th and 8th graders in English as part of one of their projects. Moreover, Xhorxhina is the co-founder and president of RIT Kosovo’s WSIA club, with the goal of giving students the opportunity to embrace their talents and thus their selves. Xhorxhina is also the co-founder of RIT Kosovo’s MEU Club, a club whose goal is to create the Model European Union Kosovo, with Kosovo high school students. She is always willing to help her fellow students achieve their academic goals.
