RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is very proud to share the accomplishments of its faculty members as they contribute to the world of academia with their scholarly work. Academic research is very valuable, especially when it means expanding the pool of information available for the business environment in Kosovo.
Contributing in the research on the business environment of Kosovo is the work of Fadil Sahiti, Ph.D., lecturer of Management courses at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), who recently published his book on the microeconomics of growth among SMEs in less-developed countries. Titled “The Growth of Firms in Less-Developed Countries - Lessons from Kosovo,” this book gives an overview of the economy of Kosovo, followed by an examination of the dynamics and determinants of firm growth in the specific case study of Kosovo.
Fadil Sahiti holds a PhD in Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and holds an MBA degree in Banking and Corporate Finance from Kurt Bösch University (IUKB), Switzerland. Mr. Sahiti joined RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in 2016 as a full time lecturer in the Management Department, and has previously served as an Associate Lecturer and Tutor at LSE, UCL and BBK in the UK. His research interest lies in the field of entrepreneurship in less-developed economies, with a special focus on the business climate in Kosovo.
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is determined to recruit, develop and support excellent faculty, who are encouraged to conduct scholarship and service as well as teach. Our active and hardworking faculty members are role models for the students of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), who are encouraged to pursue their own academic research through different courses – including the Senior Capstone.
Mr. Sahiti’s book is published by Palgrave Macmillan, a prestigious international academic and trade publishing company, and is available for purchase online: https://bit.ly/2CnPigM
