Junior and senior students of Managing Organizational Change course and Professor Medina Orana visited the offices of Millennium Challenge Corporation in Kosovo. Millennium Foundation Kosovo is the implementing entity of the Threshold Program agreed between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and Millennium Challenge Corporation. Kosovo Threshold Program addresses two key constraints to Kosovo’s economic growth: an unreliable supply of electricity; and real and perceived weakness in rule of law, government accountability and transparency.
Millennium Foundation in Kosovo has gone through substantial change throughout the past couple of years. The organization has developed from a 5 member institution working in very small offices three years ago, to a team of 23 very competent professionals operating in an open space office environment today in order to very successfully implement projects such as: District Heating Metering, #DIGDATA Open Data Challenge, and Women in Energy: Entrepreneurship, Scholarship and Internship program.
The organizational development at MFK has been managed to bring tremendous success. The leadership at the organization perfectly balanced flexibility and control when managing employee performance by establishing a very flexible structure within a very controlled and strict larger framework.
