On Thursday, November 7, 2019 RIT Kosovo hosted Mr. Yuichiro Morishita, a Japanese peace activist who talked about Hiroshima/Nagasaki.
In conjunction with 'Japan Week' hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, taking place from November 6-10th we have invited a Japanese activist Mr. Yuichiro Morishita who is currently touring 100 countries around the world in twelve months to educate each country of the history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - the only two cities in history to have suffered from the atomic bomb. He has just completed his tour around Africa this past summer, and now intends to continue with his second tour - the European edition.
Mr. Yuichiro Morishita is the first Japanese to have played basketball professionally in USA, and currently acts as the Peace Ambassador for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He's also been featured in an episode of Japan's popular TV series "Jonetsu Tairiku" and has been an active member of the media since.
