First batch students of KosLift, on 12th of December 2019, received their certificates for having competed their training in the R&D Lab.
These students successfully completed 11 online courses which focused on soft skills, management, research, programming and design. Afterwards, the same students joined the specific training in the R&D Lab at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K).
The intensive training included the following courses:
- JAVA Programming
- Android App Development
- Web Development
- Data Analytics and Visualization
- Social Media and Marketing
- Project Management
Students have completed one or two of the above courses, depending on their interests.
Out of the total number of students enrolled in the courses, 41 students managed to successfully complete the training successfully,and today were rewarded with certificates of completion.
The next batch of students to attend the intensive training in the R&D Lab is expected to start in early next year, after they have successfully completed the online training.
The successful students were addressed and greeted by the Interim President of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) - Dr Kamal Shahrabi, by his H.E. Ambassador of Norway in Kosovo – Mr Jens Erik Grøndahl, by the Project Manager of KosLift – Mr Ardi Ponosheci and as well as by a KosLift student that shared her journey in the project – Ms Diana Basholli.
KosLift project aims to increase the capacities and skills of students of University of Prishtina and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) by providing free online courses, specific training in the R&D Lab and small grants that students can use to solve practical challenges that local businesses in Kosovo have.
