RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) has received a 65’ HELLO Touch TV as a gift from the renowned communication platform company “Solaborate”. This gift will aid RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) to further increase the incorporation of technology in online collaboration, teaching and learning process.
“We are grateful to Labinot and Mimoza Bytyqi for the generous gift given to the college” said Dr. Kamal Shahrabi, Interim President and Dean of Faculty at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). “As classes have moved online due to COVID19 global pandemic, these solutions that allow online collaboration via the face-to-face mediums recreate a significant elements of the physical social gathering. Our aim is to integrate the new trends of communication technologies and use them at all programs of the college, including the new Master of Science Program offered at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K).”

Mr. Visar Jasiqi, the Chief Development Officer at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) commended the contribution of Solaborate’s over the years and said “Solaborate is a great example of our diaspora engagement in the country and their investment in Kosovo is creating new jobs as well as new internship opportunities for our students. We are looking forward to work with Solaborate in other programs that support the college as well as the needs of the company to increase its human capital”.
All types of gifts made to RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) help the institution to continue its mission – to develop a cadre of leaders to drive significant change in Kosovo through providing an outstanding American education.
Solaborate is a communication and collaboration platform for professionals operating in US, China and Kosovo. In July 2016, Solaborate launched HELLO. HELLO is a voice controlled device that can be used for video conferencing, wireless screensharing, live broadcasting, and security surveillance. In 2013, Solaborate has been awarded the people's choice award at SAP's Palo Alto, during the 10th startup forum and received the “Best in Show” award at the WebRTC Conference and Expo hosted by TMC in Atlanta, Georgia.
