Donor Recognition

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) recognizes and celebrates the vibrant community of generous donors who make annual, lifetime, and other gifts to the AUKF and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), through various clubs and societies. Other donor recognition include:

Naming Opportunities at RIT

Supporting Outstanding Talent and Student Experience

Covering a broad range of options, named endowments provide donors with opportunities to establish need-based scholarships, merit-based scholarships, and special awards that will assist students in financing their educations.  By establishing endowments such as a Scholarship Award or Recognition Award, donors will ensure that a greater number of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students receive the financial support they need to make the most of their time at the Institution.

  • Merit-based Endowed Scholarships and Awards: $25,000 and above - (awards and scholarships based on academic excellence help RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) to attract and retain talented students from throughout the world.)
  • Need-based Endowed Scholarships and Awards: $25,000 and above (a contribution in this area will make possible the RIT-K experience for those with demonstrated financial need.)
  • Global Discoveries Endowment: $50,000 and above (the experience of studying abroad is often an invaluable and informative part of a student’s academic career at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). A gift to the Global Discoveries Endowment will help fund scholarship grants to students wishing to spend a semester studying at RIT main campus or other US universities).
  • Expendible Gifts (gifts of a minimum of $1,000 may be accepted as a one-time named scholarship.)

Supporting Research, New Program Development and Professorships

  • Named Endowed Faculty Positions (Chairs, Professorships): $25,000 and above (throughout the history of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), the faculty and academic scholars of RIT-K have served as stewards of the Institution. By establishing a named endowed faculty position, donors help ensure that exceptional instruction remains at the core of the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) experience.)
  • Named Endowed Distinguished Visiting Professorship: $150,000 and above (providing salary and operating funds for a visiting professorship helps the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) recruit noted scholars from outside of the institution and support their work with our students, research or new program development)
  • Named Endowment for Academic Departments and Centers: $100,000 and above (in support of operational needs at the department or center).
  • Named Lab Endowment in Teaching and Technology: $100,000 and above (the technology employed by RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) professors is ever-changing—and expensive to update and maintain. The Institution will benefit greatly from support in upgrading “smart” classrooms, computer hardware and software, and audio-visual equipment)

Campus Transformation

  • Buildings - Minimum Gift: $1 million and above (at the present time, the campus contains one building that can be named to honor or memorialize an individual or group and it intends to build a new Student Center and Dormitory. The donor will work with the Office of the President as it relates to one of these buildings and gift levels. The building’s name will be appropriately displayed with wording recommended by the donor, as approved by the Board.)

*Naming rights are a wonderful way to honor your family or recognize someone special.

Donor Wall

To honor the donor, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) houses a Donor Recognition Wall by the front entrance of the Main Building at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), which remains permanently in our campus and is update each year. This way, we are able to permanently recognize and honor your involvement and support to RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) and its students. All cumulative donations from $10,000 and above are placed in ascending levels.
